What exactly are you looking for in a resume writing guide? I have some old notes I'd be happy to organize into something a bit more generally useful for you. There's this old data based article that I've personally used as reference for quite a while.

I don't know specifically, but a guide with fundamental stuff that everyone agrees on would be nice to have in RenderCV's docs. Feel free to submit a PR if you would like to contribute a guide to the docs.
