Figure out a robust and smart way to commute the excitation and/or change the excitation voltage/current.
Maybe solid state switches on resistors. Preferrably using the ADC GPIO pins and the sequencer.
Commuting would suppress thermocouple voltages, changing excitation would allow measuring self-heating.
