This is what our cryogenic shuttling subsystem is going to look like.
The 2D trap will have three categories of signals:
high voltage lines
fast and low noise lines
"DC" lines provided by cryo-ASIC demultiplexer
The demultiplexer control logic will be controlled by serial protocol with modulation that breaks the ground loop.
The control logic contains a state machine with memory (sequencer), but it's also possible to control the mux register directly. This is to keep the ground bouncing minimal.
