Ligadura Mezana is confusing.

[ ] Do you have to declare it before the attacker rolls?
[ ] Should be "up to one size larger than you or smaller"?
[ ] Should be Mezzana not Mezana?
[ ] Can you do it when you're prone? Maybe at disadvantage?
[x] Look at language for defensive fighting style as to when you interpose.

Protection fighting style (PHB 72):

When a creature you can see attacks a target other than you that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. You must be wielding a shield.
