Intents Extension macOS.appex opens and stays in dock when running 'Get unsplash' action #119

Description

I'm using Actions to query unsplash for some images, and then pass the image returned to another action that sets it as a desktop wallpaper. Everytime the shortcut runs, it opens a dock item 'Intents Extension MacOS.appex' which stays open after the shortcut is run - this feels like a big!

This is a macOS bug. I will look into a workaround if it's not fixed in macOS 13.3.

Just to add that I am also experiencing this with the get/save file icon action on macOS. I'm on Version 13.4 Beta (22F5027f) so it doesn't look like it gets fixed in 13.3

There is a workaround included in Actions 2.4.0. Restart your device after updating.

I’m using version 2.9, and it happens (AFAICT) with any action used.
