This setup is awesome Is there a way for this system to control other brand of lamps besides Hue lights while using the hue hub? I'm presently looking at the Tradfri system from ikea.

From what I saw, Tradfi lights can be connected to a Hue bridge, in that case they should become controllable as any hue light AFAIK. It's untested though, but it could be interesting to have some feedbacks on this :)

oh! so I attempted to control the Tradfri lights, you can control the intensity using any of the color channels but the color won't change.

same here. i also have a bunch of tradfri lamps where i can only control the intensity via dmx-hue. its both RGB and warm/cold-white, same thing with all. also i noticed that after some time playing around with dmx-hue, 2 out of 10 lights did reset their color to the standard white. the others still have the last color i chose in the hue app. i'm using dmx-hue on a raspberry pi 3 with the latest QLC+ image(raspbian buster). btw dmx-hue wont start until you stop olad and qlcplus service

edit: i made a workaround for the color bulbs
