Thank you for your contribution! I'm worried though that with this upgrade the library won't work with Angular 12, which is an issue for us. We need to test this and figure out a way that won't tie the library version to the Angular version (unless there's a fundamental incompatibility of course). Perhaps we can just specify less strict version numbers in our peer dependencies. We will work on this problem in a few weeks. In the meantime I hope you can work with just a local build of the library?
