As I blogged about 10 months ago, "the most pressing is to configure Org mode to match my work-flow" (!) Also "and/or tweak my work-flow to work with Org, there's give-and-take there".

Features Detail:

• Capture templates for Tasks, Tickets, Journal, Notes, and work's Moin-moin wiki
• Integration with Google Calendar and Google Tasks
• Org Agenda views (here is an Org Agenda tutorial)
• MobileOrg to sync Tasks and Events to/from my communicator
• (nice to have) calfw to view Org calendar events (and indirectly, gcal ones)

Still need to look into how to do some of this

Implementation Challenges

• I need to work out how to do Layer dependencies in Spacemacs (most of Org should be owned by the org Layer, with these additions done by mjl-org, which declares org as a dependency)
  • More thought / design needed around how I will actually use Org in my workflow (esp. what actually is my workflow?)
  • Not sure yet how to integrate to Google. iCalendar export maybe? What about Tasks? Perhaps michel-orgmode (BitBucket. Found via the Worg)

Actually Google Tasks is older, and Google Keep is the new shiny. I do use Keep and I like it more. Maybe michel-orgmode could be modified. Or (uglyer), I could use Google Tasks Porter? tutorial - GuidingTech

There may be a good argument actually to separate the Google integration into it's own Layer, which could be more widely useful. Also possibly the calfw feature.

I will consider parameterising as much of the Policy as possible, so that it could be considered inclusion in general Spacemacs. But more important to me right now (ha!) is to get something configured so I may start using it.
