Make singer-python compatible with airflow 1.10.14.

Any update on this? I am unable to use Singer with Airflow because of this. Or is there an alternative solution?

@meteozond sorry, I don't remember anymore. Should have commented why, mea culpa.

Feel free to reopen/tackle the issue. I'm not using Singer anymore, so I won't follow this issue myself.
