Why can't I neither vote nor claim in "Request Solutions and Vote" window? (question) #28

Testing Environment:

Windows 10, Google Chrome 73.0.3683.86 (64bit), 15.6", 1920х1080

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to Home Page of RFAI
  2. Scroll down to the list of the requests
  3. Open "Active" or "Completed" tab
  4. Choose some service with submitted solutions
  5. Expand its info
  6. Press "View solution" button
  7. Observe the result

ACTUAL RESULT:

In the opened window I see disabled "Vote" and "Claim" buttons. Can you please explain why they are disabled and what is the exact purpose of both buttons?

Claim - Can be done only after the request is either closed or expired or after the completion Vote - will be enabled during the voting phase only

@rustam-snet closing this issue as it is a question. If you find any further bugs please raise it as a new issue.

@rustam-snet the voting phase happens when there are multiple submissions, and only backers can vote on them. @ksridharbabuus a possible enhancement to make things clearer is to add at the bottom of the popup a small note to explain to users in which situations they can’t vote or claim, what do you think?

We have these details in some other location. Yes make sense where we can provide a link to get the complete flow of request life cycle.

We will add a message that Voting has not yet started for the request.
