Website Issue & Extension Seems Broken #1

Your website does not work and for some reason I couldn't get this extension to work either. Is the salt the old encryption key? I tried with and without it.

I'm in a dev environment, so the only step I didn't take was the compile.

I'm facing the same issue, it doesn't work (magento 2.2.1), did you find a solution?

I had to run the compile (even in dev). And be sure not to touch the customer password tables. Leave those as they were in M1.
