Hum, but sadly that should be added in an addon wouldn't it , because ProjectE is just a revamp of EE2. Also what do you mean by filter can you explain, i may add it to my addon if i can. @scj643

More options to filter I find that 3x3 isn't enough to put what I want excluded

Maybe something like Extra Utilities has, being able to craft a Filter, assign items to it, and put it inside another Filter, so you technically have 9 Filters within one item slot? The current 9 items would become 81, depending on how recursive you make it. Could also make the initial filter 9x3, put 27 Filters inside of that, make it only recurse two layers (so you can't go deeper than a filter inside a filter), for a total of 6561 possible items to be whitelisted/blacklisted with the current 3x3 grid.

I'm more in favor of simply expanding the inventory instead of adding filter items - how many items do you guys need to filter in most modded use cases? 12-15?
