I have a control panel that is not Smart, but it allows me to talk to it via TCP to arm/disarm and that I can read two of its ports to know the arm/disarm status and if it is disarming.
I used a sinric switch device to control the arm/disarm and a doorbeell to find out if it was triggering.
Features I missed:
Require a password/key/PIN to disarm (when changing switch status, similar to garage door)
the doorbell emits a sound alert in the sinric application, as google home only emits audio devices connected to the house, not the cell phone.
And the best if I could combine the two devices into one
