Garage door status #48

Hi I have a perfectly working garage door sketch however I want to know if it's possible to add the contact sensor to the garage door sketch itself without using another contact sensor device If yes please explain how to implement it to my sketch

You can create a new custom device type for this, https://help.sinric.pro/pages/custom-templates

Limitations are:

  1. Only Alexa supports custom device type
  2. Sinric Pro App UI is different compared to using separate device types for garage door, contact sensor
