Remove old sites from surge fails

Yesterday I removed lots of surge sites.

CLI said that this was successful but site was still online.

This morning I checked that the site continues to be online but trying to remove it with the CLI fails

Aborted - Unable to remove qmenta-preview.surge.sh.

What I can do to solve this?

if you trying to remove it after closing terminal.

try upload new project file to the domain that you want to remove. surge project: root/project_sample domain: domain-you-want-remove.surge.sh

then type surge teardown

surge teardown domain-you-want-remove.surge.sh
