Offer other bridges or Matrix services to the MIT community? #31

Apart from Slack channel/workspace and Discord channel/workspace bridges, we could offer WhatsApp, Messenger, etc user/double-puppeted bridges for people to use

Also, we can check which other Matrix services we can enable for people, such as other integrations or widgets (for instance, Etherpad--maybe integrate with etherpad.mit.edu)

Trying to setup Facebook. You have to follow a few instructions, and the result you get is a bridge anyone can use.

It seems to work except for the fact that the Oracle VPS is definitely struggling...

Well, after restarting and adding 1 GB of swap, it works well. Just that when setting it up, I didn't realize you could configure it to backfill messages. I think that's the best option to do it from the start, because it seems like you can't backfill them later.

update: facebook, whatsapp and mattermost bridges are up (but not really advertised yet). we can certainly add more. resources aren't an issue now that we have a dedicated server
