There is no ethernet device on this board, usb a driver-free usb-ethernet hub is ok

root:root is ok to login, maybe there is something wrong with your serial tool application, I use mobaxterm and succeed loginning.

I followed the same set of instructions you did, including the same image and same tool (balenaetcher), but Ubuntu does not appear to be working on my board. I am not seeing anything on the HDMI output. I confirmed that the hardware is working, because their Debian HDMI image works just fine. Is HDMI output supported with this Ubuntu image?

Command line HDMI output is supported, and it will take a bit time to start the system to output, different screen may not show the HDMI Command line.

How to control rgb LED on normal Dock ?

echo 0 0 255 > /sys/class/leds/rgb:status/multi_intensity

does not work with non Pro Dock
