These are files from one of our meetings. Our congregation uses SLV (Vietnamese Sign Language), and we don’t have the MWB in SLV yet.

I'm curious, where do you get your files from? Is there a way to automate this in M3?
Dear @mtdvlpr,
Thank you for your question. Some of the files are from JW.ORG, while others are self-made. In a sign language congregation, it’s quite common to use a large number of files for midweek meetings. For comparison, you can observe the streamed meetings of the Peruvian Sign Language and Bolivian Sign Language congregations.
I’m concerned that M³ won’t be able to automate the download of all these files since they’re custom-made. To clarify, according to S-141, “ speakers at sign-language meetings may show videos of scriptures and make judicious use of other videos from our organization as a visual teaching aid for the special needs of deaf audiences.”
- If we want to remove files and start over, we can only delete them one by one, with a confirmation required for each file. This is especially tedious for mid-week meetings, where we often manage over 50 files.
Maybe, implement in the first delete, a checkbox that says, "do not ask, this will be reverted next time you open the app"
Hi there @vangquan ! Thanks for opening this issue.
Since updating to M³ 24.10.7, it seems the software no longer organizes media files into separate folders named by the meeting date (e.g., 2024-10-20, 2024-10-24, etc.).
You're correct; this is by design.
The previous method allowed for easy addition and removal of media files using Windows File Manager. In M³ 24.9.x, we would create a folder containing all necessary files, copy the folder to the correct path, and M³ would automatically recognize and sort them by filename. However, in M³ 24.10.7, adding media files has become more cumbersome:
- We now have to manually add files through the file picker (drag and drop doesn’t work).
This is fixed, try the latest release please! Drag and drop should be functional now.
- Once added, files are not sorted by filename by default.
By default, files are added in the order they were selected:
- Reordering files has to be done one by one.
There are two helpful ways to choose multiple media files at once:
You can now drag these selected media files to another section! These methods are similar to what you'd use in a regular file explorer on your computer.
- If we want to remove files and start over, we can only delete them one by one, with a confirmation required for each file. This is especially tedious for mid-week meetings, where we often manage over 50 files.
Wow! I didn't realize some congregations used so many files. Would it be helpful to add an option to delete all imported media files for that day?
Suggestions:
- Add a button to automatically sort files by filename.
Again, I'm pretty sure this already happens. I just tested it now; let me know if it works for you.
- Add a button to delete all files of a meeting at once.
I guess there's my answer: it would be helpful 🤣
- Bring back the feature that allows managing files by folders named after the meeting date.
This is not on the roadmap for now unfortunately.
Added option to delete all imported media files for currently selected day in b311bf0e527d4116f572cd1c5fc2d68bce445b32.
Is your feature request related to a problem?
