on a pixel4a the headset mic I have seems to be broken.

pixel 6 pro recording in a wooden box padded with 25mm noma acoustic foam. front is from the top of the top of the opened box, bottom is from the bottom microphone and top from the top microphone (from outside the box) so slightly atenuated.

there is a clear 10-50 samples shift on top-bottom

Sound from front of phone (roughly same distance to both phones) - sound is equally loud and similar timing image

Sound closer to "bottom" mic (left channel) - sound arrived first and is louder image

Sound closer to "top" mic (right channel) - sound arrived first and is louder image

Maybe I can have a couple speakers at fixed locations outside the box and see how they are recorded.
