I think that is better to leave the READMEs at the docs folder, as I mentioned here. But I prefer to separate it from that PR as it can leave to an discussion by it self.
Following that mindset, we can add the wiki files to that folder too. Following these steps we can easy pull/push changes to the actual Wiki as well accept MR on it.
