Start Page constantly flashing and unusable #1696

Steps to Reproduce and Observed Behavior

  1. Launch SLADE
  2. The Start Page is constantly flashing (and all the links are barely clickable), and wxWebView Error: COREWEBVIEW2_WEB_ERROR_STATUS_CONNECTION_ABORTED can be seen in the console.

Expected Behavior

The Start Page should look just fine.
