I would like SLADE to ... again whats in the subject, AN ACTUAL DARK MODE BECAUSE ITS 12 AM AND I AM GETTING FLASHED BY THE LIGHT THERE WASNT A PROPER DARK MODE AND MY EYES KEEP HURTING PLEASE add a proper dark mode because my eyes hurt every single day i open this and im not joking

Apologies with me complaining about that its just really difficult using this at day and night it just really hurts my eyes.

Not commenting in any official capacity, just want to note that if displaying white on your monitor "really hurts" then you need to turn the brightness down or you need to get bias lighting so the wall behind your display is bright enough. For SDR content, white shouldn't be significantly brighter than the surrounding environment.

This is of course independent of it being desirable for Slade to follow OS dark theming if that's something wxWidgets can do. I'm just amused by how dramatic dark mode people are about it.

This is also a duplicate of #1188. The status is still the same, waiting on wx 3.3 to release which supposedly will have dark mode support
