I don't understand your question.
Touchmod team built micros for ipod touch 1 and developed SIP application for
ipod touch 1 and iphone 1.
I continued to develop Siphon application after that for iOS 2, 3 and now 4.
So now, if jailberak is legal in your country, you can use cydia and add
sources to cydia.

Did you read this: http://code.google.com/p/siphon/wiki/SIPSettings ?
Did you enable background mode ? if yes disable it. iOS manages background with
TCP socket only (network protocol) and a lot of SIP providers manage UDP socket
only !!!

I didn't touch anything and I can't access siphon because of the sip VoIP
settings in the beginning where it asks you for your username and password. I
need help with that because every time I use voipbuster or voipcheap, freecall,
and I enter in the settings, the calls become unavailable.

I read the page you sent me and the sip settings I use are freecall voipbuster
and voipcheap, but they always do not work no matter what I do because I can't
call any one.
