Android: gradle changes #136

I had problems building the app on my system. The changes I made resolved the problems.

I would love to see recent versions of this app on F-Droid again and I hope that my changes can help reaching this goal.

Oh yes, Google is always upgrading the gradle and compat libraries; thanks for this. About F-Droid, the initial release on this store wasn't done by us (see https://github.com/sismics/reader/issues/80). Maybe @dalb8 can help us again or we can do it ourselves if we have time.
