"View" dialog should be closable by pressing Esc #671

The new "View" dialog does not react to pressing the escape button. It would be great to support that to be more in-line with how other software behaves.

Definitely, the feature is still fairly new and needs some improvements. As a long time user, may I ask what you use the dialog for?

Oh, I was simply playing around with it and out of habit I tried closing it with "Esc" which did not work. Hence this ticket.
