You'll want to start by using the node-raspicam module to capture a timelapse with a given frequency from the Raspberry Pi camera to a Raspberry Pi.
Play around with it to figure out what you think is a good frequency, whether or not you want to use any of the filters, change the ISO or other parameters, etc. Basically, you want to calibrate it. You'll have to do this at Studio-X.
