Build case set feature breaks when switching tumor types #342

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
The build case set feature stops working when switching from one tumor type to
another.

To reproduce:
1 - Select ovarian cancer and build any case set
2 - Then select GBM and try to build another case set

The build case set box comes up, but the loading icon keeps spinning.

The moment a new tumor type is selected, the case selection should probably
also reset.

When there is a case id validation error, switching tumor types still breaks
the build case set feature.

To reproduce (on public portal):
1 - Select serous ovarian cancer and build a case set with "G3" option of
"Tumor Grade" unchecked
2 - Add an invalid case id to the end of the list, such as "TCGA-INVALID"
3 - Submit the query (the query will return with a case id validation error)
4 - Then select Glioblastoma (TCGA) and try to build another case set

When there are such validation errors, the case selection is not reset, I'll
try to figure out the reason...
