Crash in Sketcher #5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
I was drawing a series of lines that created an enclosed area.  I tried to draw 
a circle inside the area.  
The center point was placed but as soon as I began to expand the circle 
outwards the machine froze 
and crashed.

I suspect this could be related to either a memory-stomping bug I have seen 
before or my recent 
efforts to remove all implicit casts.
