afaik, there isn't much you can do about how POM looks in Photon atm. I also think that the current implementation isn't the best in photon (no offense six). As for the trees being "lime green" that's because of your shadow distance. You can increase the Shadow Distance option in the video setting options right under the Render Distance setting
you are a hero mate for the shadows! i will try it :). hopefully six will see the rest of the issues :)
What happened?
The pom does look good, but has no horrible slope fix option, so it looks really bad, even with max settings like there is no shadow in between the depth. the trees from a distance gives a bright green (lime green) texture when under ful light. The light when placing a torch in a room or dark night gives a 1 block main light beam, when als in indirect shadow, it gives a triangiular shadow on the block in some cases.
Your shader is so good, and i love the see the way the light shines, i really hope that will stay that vibe. And i really hope i can maybe show you the problem by screensharing.
hopefully there is a fix!
