Edit invitation template at Project Management section #78

Send invitation email. [Edit the invitation] - when I click Edit link here, while sending the invitation for new participant, I get a notification, that : You are not authorized to access this page. Why is it so?

Forgot to mention, that even if I change the template under Settings, this template is saved, but still the changes are not applied and in reality only old text is send in the invitation. It is on both: side and getcheck portal.

This issue has been updated. Please check it.

  1. All the links has been fixed.
  2. The template changing has been tested, but no error found. Natalya, could you check again? I think it now works.

Ok, template edit is working now. Good. About built in HTML editor. FOr me it doesnt work, it works only if I write myself all HTML tags. Otherwise the invitation email looks like plane text. Tested in gmail, hotmail and aalto email accounts. Also there is problems with ' sign. For example: doesn\'t.

These of course, are not major issues, so if we are tight in time, you can close it.

Nataliya,

You should create a new project to test the templates. Because old project can not get the new default templates. So it looks like plane text.

Actually on project version (in http://side.soberit.hut.fi/getcheck/), FCKeditor is provide to help user rendering text without input HTML tags.

I have created new project nad edited the template there nad even sent test invitation to you. So you see, that actually it looks like plane text, if i do not put html tags. But i. Test so far only side, as i understood getcheck is not ready yet. Lets talk later in skype, if there are somequestions. Maybe i dounderstand wrong the idea of this editor

Ok, let's talk if it is still not clear to you.

I just add CKeditor to side now. Now maybe you can understand more clearly. The editor is use to help user automatically add html tags, but there is no need for user to see the html tags.

To make the links clickable on mails, the html format content is required.

Is it more clearer for you now?

ok NOW I see it, now it works and looks good. Before I actually saw the HTML tags all the time,. NOw is ok. SO I close the issue :-) so we do not think abt it anymore
