Done. @katuta Please check in development environment. After you confirm it is ok - I will move the changes to production.
Logging changes that I have made - below are solely notes for myself:
I removed the permission for 'Project member' to access observation types.
Researched projects list is not yet changed. moved that to separate issue #83.
If it doesnt look to pale, then it is ok. Some suggestions to add:
My Research projects Participated projects Create new project
And the tab Logout - is it possible to move to the right left corner? i think people are used to have it there.
I still to do not like the header: Participated projects, but I simply cant find the better option. The bad part of it , that it gives the impression, that these projects are in the past, not active sort to say anymore.
Two other , but not good either version are:
Projects I participate (in) OR Projects Participation.
Max, you decide, if you go for it.
Changed to 'Project Participation'
Made a separate issue for Login thing. This is low priority for now, but maybe we will fix it in the future.
@katuta please verify and close if appropriate.
@katuta I came up with which seems a good name for 'Participated projects'. Since these pages list projects one was collecting data for, lets call it: "My data" or "My observations".
What do you think?
We have a separate tab for Observations. Do you suggest to move this under tab Observations? So Observation tab will have two options: Research Observation and My Observation. And in Projects tab for Researcher will be only two options: Research Projects and Create new Project?
Them main problem, that the logic for researcher and participant view, should be the same, that is why it is good to have all projects data under project, although we cant find a good name for participant projects tab.
As an option, is to call it My projects Data under Projects tab.
@katuta I was suggesting just to change name of "Participated projects" to "My data". You are right "My observations" conflicts with "Observations". Lets name it "My data" (My projects Data sounds ambiguous) and put it under "Projects" tab.
Deal?
If you think it is a better name, and more clear, then deal :-).
I remenber, that it was already somewhere else My data, but I cant find it, so maybe it is already removed.
Made the changes.
I will check with miyula today how to move them into production.
In both, google chrom and safari the main mennu looks doubled. Print screen in drop box: Dropbox\SIDE Insight Project\Server side\images file name google_chrome, safari.jpg
@katuta fixed )
Now its radically simple, Apple style menu.
I removed "Create project" from menu and placed it under projects list.
Ups. We still have a problem.
@miyula currently default user page is 'chart', could you please reconfigure it to be 'person/projects' ? thank you.
Sorry, nevermind. Drupal just returns to 'last visited page', whenever you login.
good idea with Create project button
THanks :) Shall we close this one?
Yes
HI Max! As discussed, I assign this issue to you. And you decide, whether you do these changes or not.
Main menu for participant view:
Main menu for researchers view: looks actually same as in participants view, but Projects item has a one more level with 3 items: Research projects, Participated projects, Create new project
Research projects page contains the list of projects: to every row of the list add two links or buttons: View and Manage (if needed icons I will find). Project name is a link, which leads to observation data page
