Suggestion: JComboBox with textured look of Popup Button

This is another small example of discrepancy in the look and feel of Swing and 
Cocoa 
is the possibility to use the textured look for 'popup buttons' that correspond 
to read-only
JComboBoxes...
Perhaps can it be extrapolated from the PopdownButton.
