JFrame/JPanel background becomes transparent after opening combo box #71

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the attached java program (it has a main method).
2. Click on the combo box arrow.
3. Notice that the frame background becomes transparent.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Background should not become transparent. It only happens with the seaglass
L&F, not if the default swing L&F is used.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? What
JRE version?

seaglass 0.1.7.3
java version "1.6.0_22"
MacOS 10.6.6 (snow leopard)

This also happens with the integration_rossi branch.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had time to look into this issue yet?
Or maybe some advise for a workaround? I tried to play around with different
settings, but couldn't get the problem do disappear so far.

FYI: We're using seaglass L&F for this app:

ective-content/

I opened an issue also on our side for tracking:

Hi,
We have now released version 0.2
This comes with a lot of fixes and under the hoods large parts have been
rewriten.
please test if your issue still exists with the new version of seaglass.
I believe that it should be fixed but cannot verify as I do not have a Mac.

Have fun,
- Rossi
