I just tried to install lusty explorer and gvim on windows 7 and ran into this issue. Any time I try to invoke the LustyFileSystemExplorer, I get the response below. When I tried to invoke the LustyBufferExplorer, gVim crashed. Any ideas? Is there a better way to install on Windows?

Here is my gVim installation version. It was installed from the Self-installing executable gvim##.exe gvim73_46.exe listed at http://www.vim.org/download.php#pc.

And Ruby installation version is ruby 1.9.1p430.

Okay so I tried a different installation combination. I installed the vim without cream version 7.3.289 and ruby 1.8.7 one click installer. Now the lusty plugin works fine in my Windows 7 (64-bit) environment.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/cream/files/Vim/7.3.289/ http://rubyforge.org/frs/download.php/76277/rubyinstaller-1.8.7-p370.exe

Thanks for the report. Probably it should be made to work with the original combination too - oh well.

I am having this issue as well. Ruby version appears not to matter. Had issues with the cream installer.
