We need to decide on which IRC framework for ruby we should use. Two viable options are:

  1. Cinch
  2. Autumn

There is a very simplistic test bot using Cinch in the repo right now. I haven't given Cinch very much attention yet, but I have had a look at Autumn and I think it looks real :cool:.

Actually, a third option woud be just writing plugins for Rbot.

I like Cinch myself, but I haven't tried any of the others. Cinch is very easy to get started with.
