removed useless build sections & add gulp dist directory to .gitignore #118

It seems that the old way of using --global or --external arguments to the build process doesn't function anymore. This is confusing for new people so the proposed deletion. Add gulp dist directory to .gitignore

Hi @seb3s thanks for bringing up this issue regarding the broken custom builds.

I extended your PR and got the 'external' build working again.

Should be ready for merge now, but would be great if you double check.
