Two cameras error. With the version 2.0.0 the system works ok, but if I use the new version 2.2.5 I only can see one camera #359

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Run the sample for Two Cameras version 2.0.0, the program works fine and
show two cameras.

If I just run the Sample for Two cameras but using version 2.2.5 for
Aforge.Video, Aforge.Controls and Aforge.Video.DirectShow the program just
shows one camera, and the other stays in 0.0 frames, Connecting...

2. I use two Lifecam Studio Cameras, Windows XP 32 bits (virtual VMWare).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I do not know why with the older version I can use the system correctly, but
with the new version I can not do that.

What version of the product are you using?

2.2.5 vs 2.0.0

Please provide any additional information below.

I have three cameras in my system, two of type A and one type B. They show up
as 1: A, 2: A, 3:B. In the test program, selecting 1 & 2 shows video from
camera1, camera 2 does not connect (as above). Selecting 1 & 3 works. Selecting
2 & 3 works. So, this only concerns same type cameras.

I can confirm this behavior for version 2.2.5. If you connect two cameras of
the same vendor AND model (they appear with exactly the same name), the second
camera is not able to connect.

Did 2 tests just now. AForge.Video.DirectShow version 2.2.5.

1) Minoru 3D stereo webcam (2 camera basically)
Result: Yes, same name for both left and right camera, but they both play
together with no issues.

2) 2 ACME cameras (most probably some Chinese noname cameras)
Result: Two cameras of the same model/manufacturer have SAME NAME. BUT! They
both play fine together.

So it works. So either you provide more details, or debug and find the issue.

I can confirm the issue with version 2.2.5 and the WebCams from Microsoft:
LifeCam Studio.

I'll be doing some testing with other webcam from noName [HP] (chinese) and let
you about what I found.

Regards
