Currently GLVND is working for Mesa with GLX only. Any software which is built with EGL either OpenGL or GLES will fail when "eselect opengl glvnd" is used.
Update to this: Mesa now has GLVND support upstreamed, and EGL support is landing currently... That said I haven't been able to get this working just lately YMMV...
