Your diabetic retinopathy app is a practical idea only if: a) you develop a mobile app and use the mobile phone camera to take pictures of an eye as a subject b) you find diverse datasets to train the model (cover various races and demographics)

Hi Professor,

Thanks for the details.

Our team can implement the mobile app for displaying the x-ray retina images and corresponding diabetic retinopathy details for the user and for the doctor. Retina has to be scanned with X-rays hence we wont be able to implement the capturing images directly from the mobile camera .

b) We will train the data sets based on the various races and demographics.
