Discussion: newest DSpace APIs #1

Here's a thread for us to post links to DSpace and FOLIO API info and to start identifying which parts our project will use.

This looks like the official DSpace 6.x documentation for their REST API to pull info like Items and Collections:

But it's probable that the more standard OAI-PMH feed from DSpace gives us enough metadata:

https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC6x/OAI

At Auburn we've used OAI feeds out of DSpace to update our Catalog search index. Can FOLIO read from OAI feeds already? If not yet, our project may involve a converter between OAI and FOLIO items, or some native FOLIO code that can directly import from an OAI source.
