I think this project could be incredibly interesting. I think you could be a little more specific about exactly which times and places you are planning on looking at and which elements of the interpretations you plan on looking into. I do think that this is a great topic to research for a course like this and I think it's impossible that you won't discover something new in your comparison based on the variety of things you could possibly compare. I'm looking forward to seeing where this project goes.
