Project Update #10: Week of 3/28

This week we finished up some pre-work for our various foci. In our meeting we regrouped, went over some website ideas, and continued to handle Ben's computer's qualm with pushing to github. We decided on the following tasks to do before our next meeting.

Ben:

• Update verse/midrash page
• Updated table
• Changes to navbar
• Remove link to page itself
• Make it clear which page you’re on
• About drop down page
• Text page with three internal windows
• Get to Thyra mini write up

Sam:

• Continue reviewing XML
• Continue with Mallet
• Give Ben a title for verses
• Get to Thyra mini write up

Thyra:

• Push list of writing to github or post in google doc
• Work on writing stuff up
• Look into TEI

Just curious what kinds of changes is your group making to your navbar? Are you adding more features for a more enhanced user experience or are you simplifying it to make it easier/more comprehendible to use?

Looks like you guys have your work pretty evenly split up! What changes or updates are you planning on making in order to make it more clear as to which page you are on?

@k-busko We're removing the text decoration from the links and adding a drop down to condense all of our about-esque pages, for example the page on translation, the page on history, and the page about the project.

@rmf96 We're making the link of the page you're on bigger and possibly adding additional decoration.
