I need text from the textbox

First of all thank you for this wonderful library. Suppose I write [Sailor] - [shiver me;timbers] It makes diagram which is good. But I am planning to add a button that gives me the text that is "[Sailor] - [shiver me;timbers]". Please guide how can I achieve this.

Thank you! 😄 The editor is an instance of CodeMirror, so it is not a plain .
