Stephen, as Neorg is becoming more and more mature, people like me :) are looking for external/parallel integrations for our workflows. As a current vimwiki/taskwiki user, I've been keeping an eye on this project as it seems to be the only initial attempt at Neorg-TW integration that I've seen. Very exciting by the way!

I would love to see some additional documentation that invites contributors to the project, so that a community could begin forming to support it. Could you add some more info about timelines/first steps, intended dev language(s), standard contribution processes, etc?

This is a terrific example in the current Neorg mobile app repo - https://github.com/nacro90/groen/blob/main/ROADMAP.md

I've been iffy on whether or not this is something I need which is why this project has stalled. I would be down with contributors and thanks for the links they will be a good reference if this project takes off.

At this point this codebase is only 36 lines of code so that infrastructure might be a bit overkill.

Thanks for the response! Yeah I think that other repo is under active development. But even a simple roadmap/goals is helpful for potential contributors to know where a project intends to go.

Curious, if you don't see a need for this, do you no longer use TW (or don't use neorg), or do you just have an alternate workflow that you like better? If the latter I'm interested to hear how you've built things!

TaskWiki is currently the only similar project I know of, and it's very feature complete. I've recently started wondering whether this functionality could just be completely decoupled from any file type or location (vimwiki, norg). I put up an issue this morning about setting that up, but I'm not sure whether that is completely opposed to the goals of TaskWiki or whether it relies far too much on functionality from VimWiki

TaskWiki without the dependence on Vimwiki would be really nice. I also played around with writing my own task injector with a go lib that can talk to taskwarrior and tweaking the taskwiki syntax a little bit.

But I have some bad news. I went to the darkside and started using org mode and emacs. This is why this project sputtered out.
