Open Icons #2

Can we find or create a set of icons that are either public domain or open with only requirement that be mentioned somewhere not distracting to design.

What kind of icons? Are you talking about something like The Noun Project?

FlatIcon may also work. I think it depends on which icon set we want to use; we have to provide a link for each icon author.

I had looked at the noun project, and ones like the Flaticon project that require links. I think long term it would be best since this is going to reside on HPD's site that there not be links that might rise security concerns. Unless someone offers a set of icons that are public domain we should make our own with perhaps gimp or from photos we take.

Open Iconic has an icon set without need for references, though I'm not sure if it has the kinda icons we need here.
