Map areas surrounding neighborhood libraries #59

Using a story map platform (e.g. storymap.js, ESRI, etc.), pick a sample of neighborhood libraries and create a map of the surrounding items of interest.

For example, you could create a historical map within .25mi of the library. Or a map of cultural amenities, public art, places to eat... there are a ton of possibilities.

The Houston Public Library does some incredible work with neighborhood libraries, but unfortunately, those are also the most vulnerable branches to budget cuts. The idea here is that digital tools to help people go to the libraries and explore the neighborhoods will increase foot traffic.

Sure, glad to know the status. Maybe we can talk more next Tuesday in the sketch city meetup (I hope I can manage to go)?

Happy new year! Sorry that I couldn't work on the project during the holiday season as I had to take care of my child. Now the daycare has reopened and I will have more time to focus on the project. See you in the next hack night.
