Installed plugins not showing and plugins won't install #44

Open jinsley8 opened 7 years ago

jinsley8 commented 7 years ago

Platform: MacOS Sierra v10.12.5 Sketchpacks for macOS Version: Sketchpacks v0.6.1 Sketch 46.2

Steps to reproduce

I have 30-40 plugins installed currently in Sketch using Sketchpacks. However, when I open Sketchpacks now it shows no plugins in my library (they are still available in SKetch) and I cannot download new plugins. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling but I get the same errors.

Current behavior

When I click download on a plugin now it continuously loads. No action.

@jinsley8 Would you mind exporting and sharing your *.sketchpack so that we may try and replicate your issue?

Same Issue for me

adamkirkwood commented 7 years ago

@seloman Can you share your *.sketchpack so I can try and replicate your issue?

If you are not syncing your plugins with a sketchpack in a different location than the default, you can find it at ~/Library/Application\ Support/Sketchpacks/my-library.sketchpack.

Almost the same for me. I can install plugins, but I can't find any of them in any section. Therefore I can't update any plugin from sketchpacks.

I'm working on a MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29), Sketch 46.2, Sketchpacks 0.6.2

Same issue here, @adamkirkwood.

While my *.sketchpack contains ~66 plugins, none are displaying in the Managed or Unmanaged sections.

Here's a GIF for support: sketchpacks - empty

I've uninstalled Sketchpacks and all associated files, and reinstalled. Same issue. Also I've attempted to import an older *.sketchpack file to see if it'd solve the problem, but no go.

My *.sketchpack file: my-library.sketchpack.zip

masOS High Sierra 10.13.3 Sketchpacks v0.6.2 Sketch 49

EDIT: Also, cannot install new plugins. When I click Install on any of the plugins in the Newest, Popular or A-Z menus, the button simply changes to the jumping dot progress animation and remains in that state for perpetuity.

@csaper I believe you might be able to resolve your issue by deleting your my-library.sketchpack.

Once your sketchpack has been deleted, relaunch Sketchpacks client and it will begin to identify your installed plugins and re-generate your my-library.sketchpack file.

csaper commented 6 years ago

@adamkirkwood I quit the Sketchpacks client, deleted the my-library.sketchpack file in the ~/Library/Application Support/Sketchpacks folder and then reopened the Sketchpacks client, and it appears that no *.sketchpacks file was regenerated.

Here's the contents of the folder after both restarting my computer and restarting the client: library application support sketchpacks

Cheers!
