What hardware do you use? What software do you use?
:-1:
maybe add these?
:+1: for workspiration posts :)
Maybe we should get some of the wwx speakers in to see what they think and if they are interested in contributing a post? cc @jgranick, @jdonaldson, @back2dos, @waneck, @fponticelli, @ncannasse, @dpeek
What are theses questions for in the first place ? :)
Me and @lexoyo have emailed at the lack of wwx coverage the haxe.io/roundups have given. A set of speaker interview posts was thought of to increase attention. What do you think?
Not a bad idea ;)
Just found the other speaker github handles - @misprintt, @hughsando, @ciscoheat and @elliott5
Here is another question we could add to the interview: https://twitter.com/lexoyo/status/461116821387874305
I've added openfl to the future question. I've also added "what libs are you impressed by?"
I would love to contribute, only, neither @misprintt or myself can attend this year – for some reason the website hasn't been updated to reflect this (we pulled out a month ago...)
Thanks for update @dpeek, that's a shame as the past talks have been great.
@dpeek we had a lot to do with the rehearsals ... Antonin will fix that today.
Has anyone made an interview?
I can do it with @waneck , I will attend to his rehearsal soon (it is also opened to you too, friday noon, paris time)
@hughsando has given his answers and its in the repo. @elliott5 and @fponticelli have shown interest in providing answers when they find some spare time.
I think I'll publish @hughsando answers tomorrow or Friday. If you can help @waneck in any way that would be great.
Hello, I've answered the questions now and made a pull request! /Andreas
Same here. Franco.
great! when will you publish it @skial ?
@lexoyo as soon as possible :smile:, I'm just editing the posts, adding links to projects that the speakers have mentioned and other bits.
I'm also thinking of including pictures of the speakers from past wwx that are available from the Haxe google+ and facebook profile pages.
Thanks @ciscoheat, @fponticelli, @hughsando, and @waneck for your posts.
FYI, I'm planning to do my replies at the weekend,
Elliott

@skial sounds good!!!

Ok, I've got everyone's answers up on the dev site.
@hughsando - http://dev.haxe.io/wwx/2014/Hugh-Sanderson/ @fponticelli - http://dev.haxe.io/wwx/2014/Franco-Ponticelli/ @ciscoheat - http://dev.haxe.io/wwx/2014/Andreas-Soderlund/ @waneck - http://dev.haxe.io/wwx/2014/Caue-Waneck/
The alternative images for @hughsando are image 1 or image 2 and the alternative images for @fponticelli are image 1 or image 2.
The images for @waneck and @ciscoheat are the only ones I could find.
If you guys want a different image used, you can email me, post a link or provide a pull request. I think they are all good quality and decent pics.
If anyone thinks something needs changing, just point it out.
Looks good, thanks for adding links in my answers skial. The picture is quite dominating though, any chance you can make it a bit smaller...? :)
My photos are really embarrassing because the subject itself is horrible ... and there is not much we can do about that. If you have the chance I think the last one (image 2) is the best.

@ciscoheat Ha, it is isn't it.
I've been working on a mobile first basis so its a problem I haven't fixed yet for desktops. I will sort it out before its released :smiley:
@fponticelli I'll change it now.
Thanks.

Very nice articles! Maybe you could release them one by one in the coming week?
I'm planning on releasing Hugh's answers tomorrow, then one every day. On 15 May 2014 16:34, "Alex Hoyau" notifications@github.com wrote:

:+1: :dancers: excellent, thx do not forget to include the link for people to subscribe http://wwx.silexlabs.org/
@lexoyo I thought the big wwx banner at the top of the page was noticeable? Is it not displaying?
I'm planning on releasing @hughsando answers soon, any time within the next hour, so if you guys have any thoughts let me know let me know.

yes it is :+1:
@hughsando answers have been released. http://haxe.io/wwx/2014/Hugh-Sanderson/
this answer looks strange ;) [http://haxe.io/wwx/2014/Hugh-Sanderson/#What-contributions-are-you-proud-of?]
Thanks @frabbit, I've corrected the grammar. I had to read it several times before noticing it :disappointed:
Thanks to @jdonaldson, @elliott5, and @back2dos for adding their answers, its great to read through the answers before everyone else :smile:.
You guys can checkout the preview's below and let me know if you think anything should be changed.
@jdonaldson - http://dev.haxe.io/wwx/2014/Justin-Donaldson/ @elliott5 - http://dev.haxe.io/wwx/2014/Elliott-Stoneham/ @back2dos - http://dev.haxe.io/wwx/2014/Juraj-Kirchheim/
There has been some interest in a set of wwx speaker interviews/profiles to be released as the 23rd approaches on haxe.io.
I'm hoping you would be OK to answer the questions listed below. If you don't want to, its not a problem.
You don't have to answer all the questions either and if you feel some of the questions would be better answered combined or the order of some of the questions should be rearranged, that's fine.
I think the posts would work better if they flowed as naturally as possible instead of being isolated blocks of header and text. The Workspiration posts have a great tone and format to them so its worth checking out.
I've created a very simple markdown file for you to copy so you can provide a pull request. The file is at https://github.com/skial/haxe.io/blob/master/src/wwx/2014/copy_me.md, I think you should be able to do it all through github if you wanted. Or if your prefer you can email me with the text and I'll handle the rest. You can find my email on my github profile.
If you want to include images, links etc, I'm more than happy to include them.
