🔥 Your Pitch

India ranks 1st in the number of road accident deaths across the 199 countries reported in the World Road Statistics, 2018 followed by China and US. As per the WHO Global Report on Road Safety 2018, India accounts for almost 11% of the accident related deaths in the World. A total of 4,67,044 road accidents have been reported by States and Union Territories (UTs) in the calendar year 2018, claiming 1,51,417 lives and causing injuries to 4,69,418 persons. Over-speeding accounted for 64.4% of the persons killed. These statistics are disturbing more in itself than anyone would realise. People take concerns for road safety as seriously as the rule to put their seat belts on as soon as they enter the vehicle for driving. The current scenario from the Indian perspective is a tough nut to crack. Our idea tries to enhance the ADAS to help improve it, which could further lay the groundwork for Self-Driving Vehicles. Thus, it could minimize the statistics that speaks of aggravated amount of apathy and obliviousness resulting in the unfortunate scenario of death. This is of foremost importance for society to ‘save life’ as much and as long because when everything wears off what kicks in is the survival instinct, to preserve the greatest gift-“LIFE”.
