🔥 Your Pitch

Kindly write a pitch for your project. Please do not use more than 500 words –We all have observed that lot waste items are produced in our daily life.We generally throw those waste in the allotted dustbins by the government and it is the duty of the waste-pickers to collect those and dispose them off.But many times we observe that the waste-pickers don’t perform their duty properly as there is no proper system available to monitor them. Sometimes they may come to pick up empty dustbins and sometimes they won’t come for several days even when the dustbins are full of waste. And there is no proper technology available to the government for monitoring all the waste-pickers of the city. So our team has developed a solution for it. We have used Ultrasonic Sensor which is used for calculating distance of any object. This Ultrasonic sensor is used with Arduino Uno. Arduino Uno is a micro-controller in which code is written in simple C language.A GSM module is also connected with Arduino Uno. The code for calculating distance and sending it through GSM module is written in Arduino Uno and saved. This GSM is used to transfer data of those dustbins which are filled to AZURE CLOUD. Now this data from CLOUD is fetched and displayed on a WEBSITE. A WEBSITE is designed for which every driver(waste-picker) of the city will be allotted with username and password by the government. On this website there is a START button on which if the driver(waste-picker) clicks then AZURE MAP Service is used which will show the location of only those dustbins which are filled. In this way the government can monitor the activities of driver(waste-picker). So, this will promote a healthy and safe environment.

(Optional) This idea is totally feasible as sensors can be installed on the top of huge dustbins and they are very cheap. It is a one time investment which will work for lifetime and promotes healthy and safe environment as well as helps government to monitor the working of waste-pickers.
